Wedding Photography FAQHow do you work?We work in photo journalism style. We try not to move people around, and catch the moment without disturbing the celebrations. We of course make some arranged outdoor photos for your album and to frame, but we do feel the best photos are provided from spontaneous moments. However we do not make studio pictures. What is very important is that we try to work with natural light and not to use a flash which we think kills a spirit of the moment. What pictures do you usually take?As we would like to cover all of the day - With the full option we start from wedding preparations in bride's and groom's houses, then we go with them to the ceremony location. We take pictures of reception, speeches, first dance and cutting cake. Instead of taking as many pictures as possible, we do our best to make quality pictures in first place. We do not impose ourselves and we stay in the shadow of the guests. We are as sensitive as possible and full of humour to make the photos as natural as possible.Do you always work together?Yes, as long as one of us is not seriously ill. Taking pictures from two different photo cameras gives more opportunities and chances to get the best shot. We can focus on details to develop photos of every important moment from two different perspectives. Two photographers working together means the same scene pictured from two different angles. What is also important is it is the same price as one photographer. What equipment do you use?We use two Canon digital SLR with high spec lenses. Digital photography is much better than the traditional one these days. How do you organize outdoor photography session?Typically we arrange outdoor sessions a few hours before the wedding in place agreed with the couple or we can take them during the reception after first dance or cutting the cake. We can also meet at another time or day after the wedding. If the couple has its favourite place we will be there. But we can also suggest our ideas where to take the outdoor photos. How long do you work on a wedding day?Our working time can be agreed but usually we work from the wedding morning up to the first two hours during the reception.Do you retouch pictures afterwards?Yes. Practically every picture is retouched. We treat pictures made on the wedding day as a half-product which is a base for the final photos.Which and how many pictures will we get?Number of pictures can be agreed. You don't even have to order any printed photos but you can get them burned on a CD/DVD disc so you will be able to print them out later. You can tell us what size and how many pictures you want so we will select the best photos and print them out. But you can also tell us what pictures you want to have and we will print those out as well. The CD/DVD disc with pre-selected pictures can be prepared too. We do not keep the photos for ourselves. We do not earn on every single printout but we charge for the service and all photos are yours. Usually we take around 250-350 high resolution pictures which can be printed at least in 8x6 format. When can we get our pictures?Usually it takes about 7-10 days to see, select and retouch all pictures taken. This job is more time consuming then making the pictures themselves. How much do you charge?Everything depends on the option you choose. The cheapest version starts from £749 For more information please have a look at our price list.Where do you work?We are based in Wakefield and we work in the whole West Yorkshire area and in northern parts of South Yorkshire. In special circumstances we can travel to other parts of the UK or world but it will be the matter of additional time and accommodation cost. How long time before we need to book your service? There is no problem to make a booking one month, half a year or even two years before your wedding as long as we are free at that time.Reservation is made based on £100 deposit paid.
